A fine 1:8 large-scale collector’s model of the McLaren MP4/4 as raced to victory at the 1988 Japanese Grand Prix to secure Ayrton Senna the Driver’s World Championship. It was Senna’s eighth win of the season, which beat the record for total wins in a single season, previously held by Jim Clark and team-mate Alain Prost who finished second in the sister car.
This model has been hand-crafted utilising our own CAD data created by scanning the original car at the McLaren Technology Centre in every detail. The resulting prototype has undergone strict scrutiny by McLaren to ensure complete accuracy.
Upgrade display case options are available for this model, from the space-efficient rotating wall display through to display cases in both table top and floor-standing form.
